LEXINGTON, Mass., May 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Gomez Inc., the leader in web application experience management, today announced revenue growth of more than 45 percent for the quarter ended March 31, 2007. These results are directly related to an accelerating acceptance of the company's ExperienceFirst(TM) product platform, evidenced by 61 new customers and robust growth among the existing customer base.

In addition, the company set the stage for continued growth with beta testing of four major new products, all of which are expected to be generally available in Q2 of 2007:

-- Actual Experience XF(TM) - Provides real-time measurements of real user experiences and enables segmentation of visitor populations down to the machine-type, browser and screen resolution level. Beta participants include MTV, German mail order company Quelle and USA Today. -- Reality Load XF - Provides on-demand load testing on real devices connected to the Internet. Reality Load XF is in beta with numerous customers including Citibank DE and Philadelphia Newspapers LLC. -- Reality Check XF - Provides on-demand functional quality testing of web sites in development with any combination of operating systems, browser type and screen resolution. More than 90 developers are participating in the public beta. -- Reality View XF - Provides on-demand visual inspection of how a web site renders in any combination of operating systems, browser type and screen resolution. More than 90 developers are participating in the public beta.

"With the addition of Actual Experience XF and the Reality QA products to our ExperienceFirst platform, Gomez becomes the only on-demand web experience management company to offer lifecycle products from application development through to deployment and production," said Jaime Ellertson, Gomez chief executive officer. "Combined with more than 14,000 testing locations worldwide, we're in the best position to serve the needs of companies that depend on the web channel for revenues on a global basis."

New customers added to the global customer portfolio in the first quarter include: Media News Group (), which operates 57 daily newspapers in 12 states, each with web sites focused on local news content; UK-based Silverjet (), the first British exclusively business class airline; as well as Buy.com, Digg, Hallmark Cards, Immem, Snapvine, US Airways and White Pages.

Other Q1 Highlights -- Gomez acquired Zurich-based Sysformance AG, a privately held provider of small-medium business (SMB) web monitoring solutions in the European marketplace. -- Signed a lease for new corporate offices almost tripling the space and constructing a state-of-the-art Network Operations Center (NOC) which opened on April 27, 2007. -- Enhanced the senior management team with the addition of former MAPInfo executive David Flower as vice president, Europe-Middle East-Asia (EMEA).
